The 2011 Syria

A peaceful uprising against the president of Syria almost nine years ago turned into a full-scale civil war. The conflict has left more than 465,000 people dead, devastated cities and drawn in other countries. Even before the conflict began, many Syrians were complaining about high unemployment, corruption and a lack of political freedom under President Bashar al-Assad, who succeeded his father, Hafez, after he died in 2000. In March 2011, pro-democracy demonstrations erupted in the southern city of Deraa, inspired by the "Arab Spring" in neighbouring countries. In March 2011, pro-democracy demonstrations erupted in the southern city of Deraa, inspired by the "Arab Spring" in neighbouring countries. When the government used deadly force to crush the dissent, protests demanding the president's resignation erupted nationwide. The unrest spread and the crackdown intensified. Opposition supporters took up arms, first to defend themselves and later to rid their areas of security forces. Mr Assad vowed to crush what he called "foreign-backed terrorism". The violence rapidly escalated and the country descended into civil war.
External Teams
It is now more than a battle between those who are for or against Mr Assad. But Many groups and countries each with their own agendas are involved, making the situation far more complex and prolonging the fighting. They have been accused of fostering hatred between Syria's religious groups, pitching the Sunni Muslim majority against the president's Shia Alawite sect. Such divisions have led both sides to commit atrocities, torn communities apart and dimmed hopes of peace.
Refugee
The conflict may be complicated. But the real conflict is for the people to survive in thier own land. Families have suffered under brutal conflict that has killed hundreds of thousands of people, torn the nation apart, and set back the standard of living by decades. Now in its 10th year, the Syrian refugee crisis is the largest refugee and displacement crisis of our time. About 5.6 million Syrians are refugees, and another 6.2 million people are displaced within Syria. Nearly 12 million people in Syria need humanitarian assistance. At least half of the people affected by the Syrian refugee crisis are children.
The New Born to 12
Many Syrian children have never known a time without war. For millions of them, the conflict has stolen their childhood and affected their long-term physical and mental health as well as their prospects for the future. Many children caught up in this crisis have lost family members and friends to the violence, suffered physical and psychological trauma, and had to leave school. Diseases and malnutrition, Child labor and child soldiers, Child marriage and abuse, Lack of education opportunities are some of the ways that affects children.
What Finally Left
The urgency of peace, The need of home, The importance of food, The requirement of their children's education, Worries about their survival, Hope in end of the crisis, The seek of safety, The seek of stability, Also the eyes of hope to view the land of peace is what finally ends with. Returning home peacefully is always a dream for Syrian refugees.
